Amybeth McNulty is an Irish-Canadian actress. She is known for her role as the main character Anne Shirley in the CBC/Netflix drama series Anne with an E, which is based on the book Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Amybeth McNulty is the only child of Canadian as well as Irish parents. She was born in Milford County Donegal on 7th November 2001. Amybeth is an Irish born woman. Amybeth turns twenty-one in 2023. She was born and raised in Donegal, Ireland. She has dual Irish and Canadian citizenship. Her hair naturally is blonde. Anne also formed a complex friendship to Gilbert Blythe who was two years younger than Anne however he was studying at the same level having had his schooling cut short when his father was sick. At their first encounter in school, Gilbert joked with Anne by giving her the nickname Carrots. Amybeth McNulty stars as Anne, a 13-year-old who has suffered a rough childhood at orphanages as well as the home of strangers. Anne thirteen-year-old orphan, who was raised in a secluded environment for most of her youth, is sent in error to the elderly Cuthbert brothers on Prince Edward Island. They are all happy as the show is over at the end of 1919. Gilbert has aged to 55, yet he is passionately in love with Anne.
