Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American actress, model and fashion designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. Following a brief time as a fashion model and then a transition to acting when she appeared as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. In 1997 she made her acting debut as a film actor on Nowhere. After her performance in American Beauty (for which she received the BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted much attention, she completed her move into more prominent parts. After that, she appeared as the lead in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun was a 2001 independent drama, as well as the Trauma, a (2004) thrillers were also featured in her career. The other films she appeared in include HBO's series Six Feet Under.
